We are professional, agile and our goal is to hire a energetic, positive, self-motivated, friendly person with excellent communication skills to multitask various front office tasks.
The ideal candidate would have previous Athena EMR and medial office experience with insurance knowledge and ability to be cross trained.
Bilingual is a plus.
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist who is knowledgeable about our office, the local community and all of the ins and outs of a busy medical office.
We value punctuality, incredible listening skills and interpersonal communication skills.
Our Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for providing information about our services, accepting payments and scheduling appointments.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and greet patients as they arrive.
Answer general questions from patients and visitors.
Answer inquiries from patients on medical insurance, scheduling, and billing.
Automate simple tasks with electronic systems.
Process insurance claims for reimbursement.
Be able to answer questions about the practice's services.
Schedule appointments for new and existing patients.
Perform clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and faxing documents.
Being friendly and polite is a must.
