We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a prospective Owner/Partner.
The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years experience with a CPA firm.
Must possess a strong background in taxes and auditing.
Well-established long-time firm with superior reputation for service and excellent rapport with clients.
Profitability meets industry standards.
Quality-driven to provide honest, reliable, and top-results service to meet clients' financial needs.
Tax-planning-driven.
Present Owner seeing to retire or semi-retire.
Willing to work with new owner.
Duties:
- Manage preparation of Tax Returns (individuals and corporate) - Supervise audits - Oversee all financial operations and ensure compliance with GAAP standards - Manage bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation - Conduct technical accounting tasks and provide financial analysis - Handle regulatory reporting requirements - Maintain Active CPA License and membership in AICPA, CGMA, KY Society of CPA's Skills:
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- Superior Public Relations - Strong technical accounting knowledge - Experience in financial statement preparation - In-depth understanding of GAAP principles - Ability to perform financial analysis - Sound knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements - Previous experience in public accounting -Experience with auditing -Experience with MAS - Experience with peer reviews a plus (Present Owner/President has 30
years experience as a Peer Reviewer in several states, 15
years on KY Peer Review Committee, and is former Member of KY State Board of Accounting.
