Progress Rail Services, a Caterpillar Company and a leading provider of parts and services for the railroad industry throughout North America and worldwide has openings for _MATERIAL HANDLER_ on 1st shift Monday - Friday at our Mayfield, KY facility.
Duties:
Operate forklift and crane in moving parts and materials to production, inventory, shipping and receiving.
Tool room work issuing and receiving parts.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience preferred.
Basic computer skills, data entry preferred.
Must have and maintain a valid driver''s license to operate company vehicle for running parts.
Must be able to meet the requirements of criminal history review, drug test, and fitness for duty examination.
Essential Job Functions:
Involves frequent bending, stooping, lifting, climbing and walking on conrete and gravel surfaces.
May be required to work outside in all types of weather conditions (rain, sleet, snow, wind, dust, extreme heat/cold)
